General

4 Questions
What is crossdocking, and how is it different from a warehouse?+
Crossdocking moves freight straight from an inbound trailer to an outbound trailer with little to no storage in between. A warehouse is built to hold inventory for weeks or months — a crossdock is built to move it within hours.
What areas do you serve?+
We run dedicated dock space and partner yards across major freight corridors nationwide, covering 48 states. If your lane isn’t listed on our coverage page, call dispatch — we add lanes weekly.
Are you insured and licensed?+
Yes. We’re fully insured and bonded, and operate under active DOT/MC licensing. Certificates are available on request.
Do you work with owner-operators, or only fleets and 3PLs?+
Both. We handle single-trailer jobs for owner-operators as often as we run scheduled volume for fleets and 3PLs — no minimum load size required.

Services

4 Questions
What’s the difference between crossdocking and restacking?+
Crossdocking is a transfer — freight moves from one trailer to another. Restacking is a repair — rebuilding pallets that have shifted, leaned, or been damaged so they’re safe to reload and ship.
Do you handle hazmat or temperature-controlled freight?+
We handle select hazmat classes and reefer freight on a case-by-case basis. Call dispatch with the specifics before booking so we can confirm door availability and any required certifications.
What is freight rework, and when do I need it?+
Rework covers case relabeling, damage repair, and count corrections — typically needed when a load is headed to a retailer with strict compliance requirements, to avoid a chargeback.
Can you provide short-term storage?+
Yes. We offer flexible short-term yard storage and container-to-trailer transload, by the day or week, with no long-term contract required.

Booking & Process

5 Questions
How do I book a load?+
Submit a booking request online or call dispatch directly. Either way, dispatch confirms a door, a rate, and a check-in window — usually within the hour.
How fast can you turn a trailer around?+
Most standard crossdock loads are checked in, sorted, and dispatched in under four hours. Restacking and rework jobs typically take longer depending on scope.
Can I track the status of my load?+
Yes. You’ll get a text or email update at check-in, again if it moves into restack or rework, and a final notice at dispatch. You can also call dispatch directly anytime for a live update.
What happens if damage or a shortage is found?+
We stop, photograph the issue, and contact you before proceeding. You decide whether to rework, reject, or continue as-is — nothing gets corrected or reloaded without your sign-off.
Do I need to book in advance, or can I show up same-day?+
Same-day is usually fine for standard crossdock and restack jobs — call dispatch and they’ll confirm door availability. Scheduled or high-volume work is best booked at least a day ahead.

Pricing & Billing

4 Questions
How is pricing structured?+
It depends on the service. Crossdocking and storage are typically priced per load or per day; restacking and rework are usually priced per pallet or per hour. Dispatch confirms the structure with your quote.
Do you require a contract?+
No — one-off loads don’t require an account or contract. Fleets and 3PLs running recurring volume can set up a standing account for faster booking and invoicing.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Options typically include invoicing for established accounts or payment at check-in for one-off loads. Dispatch will confirm terms when they finalize your booking.
Will I get documentation for insurance or chargeback claims?+
Yes. Every rework, restack, and QC job includes before/after photo documentation, available on request for insurance claims or retailer chargeback disputes.

Coverage & Insurance

3 Questions
What states do you serve?+
We cover 48 states through dedicated dock space and a partner yard network spanning the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Midwest, South Central, Mountain West, and both coasts.
Is my freight insured while it’s on your dock?+
Yes. Every load is covered under our cargo policy from check-in to dispatch, and every handling step is photo-documented.
What happens if my lane isn’t listed on your coverage area?+
Call dispatch with your lane. Often we can still cover it through our partner yard network — dispatch will confirm coverage and rates on the spot.
